Community Gallery

The 4th Space is built on connection — between people, ideas, and experiences. This gallery is a collection of moments from our community events, where we’ve come together to share, create, and heal.

These photos hold so much love and meaning, capturing the essence of what makes this space special. We hope they bring a sense of warmth and belonging, and maybe even inspire you to join us for what’s to come.

The Stories We Tell Ourselves

Workshop

This workshop wove together Narrative and Somatic therapy practices with creative expression. With the support of plant medicine, we reflected on how themes such as connection and compassion shape our stories and experiences. We ended with a collaborative community painting to abstractly capture our insights.

Shapes & Forms of Resistance

Guided Meditation - Read Here

At Poetry Decoded's art market fundraiser, this guided meditation offered a compassionate space to honor collective grief and hold onto the hope for justice in the face of ongoing genocides in Palestine, Sudan, and more. Rooted in community care, the meditation supported attendees in grounding themselves, processing heavy emotions, and reconnecting with their inner strengths and shared humanity.

Nurturing Women's Wellness

Workshop

Supported by Dr. Jennifer Tang, this empowering event focused on women and non-binary people navigating health experiences through a naturopathic lens. Participants explored holistic approaches to wellness, reconnecting with their bodies, finding balance, and nurturing their unique health journeys.

Rooted Resolutions

Workshop

This workshop created space to reflect on the year ahead through vision boards and personal wellness maps. Drawing on ACT and IFS techniques, we explored self-driven values and inner “parts” to clarify what feels most meaningful. The creative process blended guided introspection with art-making, offering a supportive way to set intentions and align personal goals with deeper sources of motivation and care.

Lets Collaborate

We are always looking forward to ways we can continue build connections and be of service to our communities. If you have an idea of how we can collaborate, or you just want to meet and explore options and alignment -- don't hesitate to reach out!

The 4th Space operates on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. Toronto, or Tkaronto, is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. We acknowledge that this land is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit and is part of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between Indigenous nations to share and care for the land, its waters, and its resources in harmony.

At The 4th Space, we reflect on what it means to inhabit this land and commit to engaging in practices that honour its original stewards. We strive to learn, unlearn, and take actionable steps toward reconciliation while remaining mindful of the ongoing impacts of colonization. This acknowledgment is just one small part of our larger responsibility to support healing, justice, and equity in the communities we serve.
