Your Story

We honour the uniqueness of the path that has brought you here. Your individual story is a crucial thread woven into the fabric of our shared humanity.

Accessibility

Access to healing spaces is a right that should be afforded to everyone. We are committed to continuously analyzing our practices to ensure our offerings are as barrier-free as possible.

Inclusivity

We are committed to creating a space where all identities are celebrated, and where everyone feels welcome and supported. Inclusivity is not just about acceptance—it’s about affirming and embracing the diverse experiences that make us whole.

Connection

Healing does not have to be done in isolation.    We aim to create relationships and spaces centred around trust, safety, and belonging in both therapeutic and community settings.

Systemic Awareness

Systemic awareness means recognizing and addressing the broader forces that shape our lives. We are committed to understanding these systems and working toward equity and justice for our communities.

Our Services

1

Psychotherapy

Our therapy services provide an opportunity to dive into your inner world with safety, curiosity, and respect. Regardless of what is weighing on your shoulders, therapy offers a space to explore what matters most to you while gently untangling the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may feel overwhelming.

2

Workshops & Events

Our community offerings provide an outlet to nurture connection and self-discovery in order to support collective growth. Rooted in the belief that community is a powerful tool for healing and change, these gatherings bring people together to explore meaningful topics, share stories, and build connections.

3

Community Collaboration

In addition to events we host, we strongly value mutual care and collective action. By working together, we hope to address the unique needs of our community while providing spaces where support flows in both directions. We aim to build relationships that uplift and empower everyone involved. If you have an idea of how we can work together, don't hesitate to reach out.

The 4th Space operates on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. Toronto, or Tkaronto, is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. We acknowledge that this land is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit and is part of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between Indigenous nations to share and care for the land, its waters, and its resources in harmony.

At The 4th Space, we reflect on what it means to inhabit this land and commit to engaging in practices that honour its original stewards. We strive to learn, unlearn, and take actionable steps toward reconciliation while remaining mindful of the ongoing impacts of colonization. This acknowledgment is just one small part of our larger responsibility to support healing, justice, and equity in the communities we serve.
